The other day I was at Trader Joe's and the fellow at the cash register mentioned how he liked my Yohji jacket . Well, this is a jacket that I stalked for several months at Barney's and actually managed to acquire finally at the warehouse sale at a considerable bargain. It is resplendent with perfect circular holes. He asked me who designed it and he seemed thoroughly fascinated. I have another jacket with holes that are more irregular and looks a bit hobbitish and this garment has gotten more admiring comments from men than any other article of clothing that I own. Hmmmmmm...... well, anyway, I have to admit that I have been drawn to holey clothing since the 80's with the Japanese invasion.
